2026/6/2

~Offering full-scale domestic availability from June 2nd~

G-Gravity Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Tomohiro Yamagata, hereinafter referred to as G-Gravity), a leader in public digital transformation, has signed an agency agreement with Mend.io, Inc. (Headquarters: Boston, USA, Co-founder and CEO: Azi Cohen), and will officially begin offering the AI-driven application development security platform "Mend.io" from June 2, 2026.

The evolution of AI is changing the way security is managed. In particular, the advancement of generative AI has been a major turning point, leading to the discovery of new vulnerabilities and an acceleration of attacks. Furthermore, with the increase in applications incorporating AI, AI-specific risks such as hallucination are also accelerating. In this context, the need for supply chain security, SBOM management, and AI security is beginning to be strongly recognized in Japan as well.

Amidst these circumstances, G-Gravity is launching "Mend.io," an AI-driven application security product, in Japan. "Mend.io" is an AI-powered security management platform that uses AI to comprehensively scan handwritten code, containers, and open-source software including AI, and is an application development governance (DevSecOps) product that manages vulnerabilities as an organization. Its features include the ability to analyze the "reachability" and "exploitability" of detected vulnerabilities to perform highly accurate and precise prioritization, and the integration of AI-specific risk management, such as the detection of malicious AI packages and AI red teaming, with AppSec.

Furthermore, G-Gravity has begun sales of this product as the domestic distributor and plans to provide after-sales service in Japanese in the future. The prices (annual user license) are 200,000 yen for "Mend AppSec" (vulnerability management and dependency analysis for code and containers such as SAST/SAT), 60,000 yen for the optional "Mend AI", and 50,000 yen for "Mend Rennovate Enterprise" (excluding tax).

Furthermore, Z-Gravity will begin offering its services in the Japanese market, particularly to companies involved in the development and manufacturing of medical equipment and vehicle equipment, as well as companies involved in system development, primarily in the public sector (government agencies). In fiscal year 2026, the company aims to conduct demonstrations in multiple industries and acquire thousands of users.

What is Mend io?
Mend.io (Boston, Massachusetts, USA) is a proven AppSec platform established in 2011. It scans all components of a system, including code, open-source software, containers, and AI, as well as their interactions, during the development phase, enabling early identification and management of vulnerabilities and risks. While many competing products focus on managing only the code layer or the AI layer, mend.io integrates both functionalities at a high level, earning high praise from external organizations such as Gartner and Forrester, and demonstrating its exceptional capabilities.
